  • First of all, launch the Discord app on your PC, right-click on the left and click Create Channel.

  • Now type a new name for the channel and click Create Channel. The rules channel will be created.

  • Next, click Settings of the rules channel → Click Permissions → Advanced Permissions.
    • Now before setting the permission, ensure that the @everyone is enabled under Roles/Members.
  • Now enable View Channel and Read Message History under General Channel permissions. Also, disable Send Messages.

How to Make Rules Channel in Discord Using Webhook

You can integrate Webhook with the rules channel on Discord.

  • First of all, under the Channel settings page, click Integrations.
  • Next, click Create Webhook.

Note: Enabling Webhook on Discord allows you to post messages from other applications.

  • In the next step, set the name you wish to use on Webhook in the name field and add an image.
  • Now, make sure you have chosen the rules channel (Under Channel).
  • Next, after that, click Save Changes and copy the Webhook URL.

  • Next, click Clear All → Clear All to erase all the pre-added details.
  • Now, under the Webhook URL and paste the Webhook link you have copied.
  • Then, choose Profile → Add Embed → Embed 1 → Body to enter rules and their descriptions.
    • You can also add different colors for the rules you made.

How to Create Rules Channel on Discord [Android & iPhone]

  • First of all, open the Discord app on your smartphone and tap the Hamburger icon.
  • In the next step, tap Server (on the left) if wish to add a rules channel.
  • Next, tap the three vertical dots → Create Channel.
  • Now enter the desired name you like to include in the rules channel.
  • Then Choose Channel Type → Text Channel → Tap Done to save your new rules channel.
  • Now, If you still can’t add your rules, tap Edit Channel → Go to User Management → Permissions.
  • Next, Tap Add a Role on the channel Settings.

  • Now under Add a Role, choose Everyone, and it will lead to the Channel Settings page.
  • Next, find View Channel and enable it.
  • Now scroll down and disable Text Channels Permissions and enable Read Message History.
  • Then disable Send Messages by tapping X. After disabling this option, members can’t send any messages in the rules channels.
  • Finally tap Save to save the changes made for rules in Discord.

Note: Instead of using numbers in the rules channel, You can add emojis as well .
